Covid-19 Policy

COVID-19 summary

 We sanitise our rooms using products that are effective against Covid-19. We have a Covid -19 risk assessment and shall be provided to guests prior to arrival .  

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease. The coronavirus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

 The main symptoms of coronavirus are: High temperature ,new continuous cough and change of sense of smell and taste.

Pre Arrival

·         At time of booking we ask guests to provide full contact details this is to enable track and trace.

·         We encourage guests to provide an approximate arrival time so that we can manage arrivals of multiple guests and if they can pay over the phone to reduce face to face contact.

·         PPE will be warn by staff and doors will be open should we see guests arriving

·         Handsanitiser will be available at the front door and guests asked to use it on entering

·         Risk assessment sent to guests via email


 

Rooms


·        Welcome letter is in each room to explain procedures to guests

·        Room service can no longer be performed daily. Guests staying 5 nights or more will be able to have room servicing at intervals during the stay when requested .

·        Teas, coffees, milks, sugars will be replenished when requested during breakfast service 

·        We ask guests to bag up rubbish and leave outside the room with dirty cups which shall be replaced.

Cleaning

 Cleaning

Following the departure of guests, rooms will be been fully cleaned in in accordance with the Covid19 guidelines prior to new guests arriving.

When thoroughly cleaning the rooms, any used item will be removed, all points of contact, light, switches, tv remotes etc, will be sanitised. PPE will be worn by staff cleaning rooms.

Where possible a minimum gap of 24 hours will be left before we clean a vacated bedroom between guests.

All linens and towels are laundered at 60 degrees.

All public areas will be frequently cleaned throughout the day

General

General

Should a guest have symptoms of covid19 prior to arrival please do not travel to us . Should you feel unwell during your stay you must notify us immediately. In line with Government guidance, you will be asked to check out immediately in order to self-isolate at your home address.

Please maintain social distancing of 1 meter within Burleigh House. We ask guests to wear facemasks in the corridors of Burleigh House.

The agreement that guests will follow our temporary new procedures and extra measures whilst on our premises is kindly requested and forms part of the terms and conditions of the booking .
